Junior Financial Controller

Part-Time- Delft

About the position

Bi/ond seeks a motivated junior financial controller to join our Delft-based team part-time (16 hours). The candidate will be taking control of Bi/ond’ day-to-day accounting and reporting. Because of your sharp analytical eye and your passion for crunching numbers, we can rest assured that the execution of all financial and administrative processes runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities

Day-to-day accounting procedures (GL, Payroll, AP, AR and cash management);
Running month-end closing process;
Preparation of budget;
Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting actuals vs budget;
Draft and implement accounting policies for Bi/ond’ activities.

Who are you?

A solid understanding of financial reporting and financial processes in an international environment;
Assertive, team player and an international mindset;
Ability to work independently and accurately under strict deadlines;
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Fluency in English (required) and Dutch (nice-to-have);
Flexible and energetic person, hands-on mentality;
Enthusiasm and a professional attitude are also key to this position;
A good general knowledge of MS Office is essential, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
Experience with Exact or similar financial reporting packages is a plus;
You are in possession of at least a BSc in Accounting or Finance;
Ideally, you have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in international business reporting;
You have knowledge of Dutch GAAP (required) and IFRS (nice-to-have).
